I AM A HOUSEHEAD

Crew merch

Planning a crew merch run: a checklist

Ordering hoodies for a party, label or club night? Sort these seven things first and your run will be quicker, cheaper and right first time.

Custom merch is the best kind of souvenir: everyone who was there gets to wear it. Here is what we ask every crew before we start a run — have these answers ready and the quote comes back faster.

The checklist

  • Quantity. Our minimum is 10 pieces. Prices drop as the run gets bigger.
  • Sizes. Collect sizes before you order — a quick form for your crew saves a lot of messages later.
  • Garment and colour. Hoodie, crewneck, tee, cap or tote, and which colourway.
  • Artwork. Vector files (SVG, PDF, AI) are best. Otherwise a PNG at 300 dpi at print size.
  • Placement. Front, back, sleeve — and roughly how big.
  • Deadline. Tell us the date you need them in hand, not the date of the event.
  • Delivery. One address, or shipped to each person?

Proofs

Before anything is pressed, we send a digital proof showing the artwork on the garment at the real size. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

Artwork rights

Only send artwork you made or have permission to use — that includes logos, photos and lyrics. If you’re not sure, ask us and we will help you work it out.
